Very unintentionally I have been quite remiss in my blogging. Stupid real life! Enough blathering, on to the hobby:
GREY KNIGHTS: No recent work
SPACE WOLVES: Sorting models into units so I can begin steady work. However I made an oath on Bolter and Chainsword to complete my TDA Wolf Priest by February. Its basecoated, so I just need to get crackin on that. I love the WP. Even though in game he is not the best, the fluff of that character is awesome. Take the loud mouth badassery of R. lee Ermey and mix it with the stone cold Clint Eastwood in Gran Torino, and that's like half of a WP. The other half is BAMF!
WARRIORS OF CHAOS: Ah, finally some actual work on these. I made up my 250pt list for the Shadowbane campaign I'm in, and have to get the models painted by Jan. 26th. Its 12 Marauders, 10 Warriors with shields, and 5 Warhounds...yeah they don't have much to offer at 250pts! This will be interesting to complete, as I'm not actually using Marauder models for the army. I'm taking a mixed approach for the Marauder blocks, using Empire, Orks, Dwarves, Elves, Beasts, Ogres and whatever else to make a true chaotic horde. The fluff behind it is that my Warlord Ghorgoroth will accept anyone who is willing to fight and die on the battlefield. The Warrior units will remain the normal Chaos Warrior models, to show that the true elite have earned their spot and fight amongst their peers. My theme will be less "Chaos-y" and more focused on the warrior aspect!
So that's about it for this report. This weekend I'll be in Philly while my wife does some yoga certification class...so I should have some #hobbytime in the hotel while I wait.
